Access to specialist care is a major challenge in remote Upper Egypt. Since December 2022, Egy International Rotary and masculine Berlin have been running recurring free medical missions to Abu Techt and Qena — delivering world-class urological surgery to patients who have no other access to this level of care.
Every patient receives comprehensive urological assessment and treatment at absolutely no cost. The mission covers consultation, surgery, and follow-up recommendations — regardless of the patient’s ability to pay.
Dr. Aref Elseweifi — a leading Consultant of Urology and Male Surgery from Berlin, Germany with decades of international surgical experience — personally leads each mission, ensuring the highest clinical standards.
A growing element of each mission is prostate cancer screening — bringing life-saving early detection directly to communities where such screening has never previously been available, as part of the national detection initiative.
