18 Tons of Blankets to Palestine

Mission Overview

Due to the increasing number of refugees arriving in Egypt from Sudan, Palestine, and Syria, the club launched humanitarian relief efforts to support refugees through food assistance, employment opportunities, shelter, blankets, medical care, and support for refugee students and patients.

Project Implementation

Emergency Relief Support

The club supported refugees by providing food supplies, water, shelter, blankets, and urgent assistance to families affected by wars and displacement.

Cooperation with Humanitarian Organizations

Relief activities were carried out in cooperation with the Egyptian Red Crescent in Cairo and Alexandria, as well as the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees office in Cairo.

Medical Support for Refugee Children

The project supported Palestinian children with cancer by helping ensure the continuation of their medical treatment until the completion of the prescribed period.

Relief Convoy to Palestine

A convoy carrying 18 tons of blankets was sent to Palestine as part of the club’s direct humanitarian relief response.

Financial Donations & Refugee Care

Financial donations were made to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees to support refugee care and strengthen humanitarian response efforts.

The project provided direct relief to refugees while supporting long-term stability through medical care, employment, and community awareness.

Sustainability & Future Impact

From Emergency Relief to Long-Term Stability

The project did not stop at immediate relief. It also encouraged clubs to participate, provide support, and organize awareness seminars about the importance of supporting refugees and victims of wars in neighboring countries. In addition, job opportunities were provided for refugees from Sudan as a stable source of income, while child cancer patients among refugees were supported to continue their treatment.
