Egy International Rotary has responded with a sustained, multi-pronged humanitarian support program — delivering emergency blankets, food, water, and financial aid in coordination with UNHCR and local community organisations.

Over 18 tonnes of blankets were collected, organised, and distributed to vulnerable refugee families during winter months — addressing the critical need for warmth and shelter protection.

Working alongside the UN Refugee Agency, the club participates in coordinated aid relief efforts, camp visits, and official refugee protection programs that align with the broader international framework.
Financial donations channelled toward covering urgent medical, educational, and household needs for registered refugee families providing direct, life-changing support.
Rotary’s highest calling is to serve those most in need. Our refugee support program is not a one-time effort; it is a standing commitment to the dignity, safety, and wellbeing of displaced families who have found temporary shelter in Egypt. This project remains active and expanding.
